Currently, manufacturers are primarily halting quotations and contracts. Over the past month, most manufacturers have avoided bulk order signings, mainly fulfilling pre-existing orders. Some producers have yet to complete deliveries for earlier orders, while downstream demand continues to deplete inventory. As of now, channel stock levels are extremely limited, with major end-users in China beginning to restock from the market. Meanwhile, distributors holding small residual inventories are adopting a conservative sales strategy, offering only limited quotes to gauge market conditions without committing to large shipments, fearing further price increases. After all, the current trend is clear—once low-priced goods are sold, sourcing low-cost supplies from the market or manufacturers becomes nearly impossible.
